The Spirit of the River
Honored to create a character for the Long Man, the French Broad River, which forms our watershed spine here in the Southern Appalachians. From its forks above Rosman, NC to its conjoining to form the Tennessee, and its eventual mingling into the Mississippi and merging into the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the great ocean - it returns again as rain where its head begins once more in the forested mountains of Southern Appalachia in the great cycle of life.
